Vegan Belgian Waffle Recipe

A delicious recipe for the perfect light and fluffy waffles!

Information
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Yield: 4 waffles
Ingredients
(Dry)
- 1 1/4 cup flour 
- 2 tsp baking powder 
- 1/4 tsp salt 
- 3 Tbsp granulated cane sugar 
(Wet)
- 1 1/4 cup almond milk (or other non-dairy milk of choosing) 
- 2 Tbsp melted coconut oil 
- 2 tsp vanilla extract 
(For serving)
- non-dairy whipped cream 
- non-dairy ice cream (I prefer "So Delicious" Vanilla Cashew milk Ice cream) 
- maple syrup 
- avocado butter (or other non-dairy butter) 
- fresh fruit 
Instructions
- Preheat and grease waffle iron (I used olive oil to grease) 
- Combine all dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together 
- Add wet ingredients to the bowl one at a time and mix together 
- Batter should not be thick 
- Add batter to waffle iron and let cook until golden brown 
- Repeat until batter is finished 
- Finish with toppings of choice
