Vegan Belgian Waffle Recipe

A delicious recipe for the perfect light and fluffy waffles!



Information

Prep time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

Yield: 4 waffles


Ingredients

(Dry)

  • 1 1/4 cup flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 3 Tbsp granulated cane sugar

(Wet)

  • 1 1/4 cup almond milk (or other non-dairy milk of choosing)

  • 2 Tbsp melted coconut oil

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

(For serving)

  • non-dairy whipped cream

  • non-dairy ice cream (I prefer "So Delicious" Vanilla Cashew milk Ice cream)

  • maple syrup

  • avocado butter (or other non-dairy butter)

  • fresh fruit


Instructions

  1. Preheat and grease waffle iron (I used olive oil to grease)

  2. Combine all dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together

  3. Add wet ingredients to the bowl one at a time and mix together

  4. Batter should not be thick

  5. Add batter to waffle iron and let cook until golden brown

  6. Repeat until batter is finished

  7. Finish with toppings of choice
