Ingredients
1 cup flour
1/2 cup granulated cane sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 salt
1/2 cup apple sauce (acts as egg)
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup almond milk (or non-dairy milk)
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
put flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt into a bowl and whisk together
in a separate bowl, mix together apple sauce, maple syrup, milk, coconut oil, and vanilla extract
combine both bowls and mix together
add chocolate chips and fold batter in
grease a square 8x8 inch pan with solid coconut oil and a papertowel
add batter into pan and bake for about 30 minutes, check periodically with a toothpick
serve with vegan ice cream, vegan whipped cream, or fruit
