Vegan Pita Pizza

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 10-15 minutes

Yield: 4 pizzas


Ingredients

  • 4 whole wheat pita breads

  • pesto/tomato sauce

  • vegan mozzarella cheese

  • mushrooms

  • olives

  • fresh basil

  • garlic powder

  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. place pita breads on a baking sheet

  3. spread either tomato sauce or pesto on to each pita

  4. sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top

  5. add toppings: mushrooms, olives, basil leaves, and garlic powder

  6. drizzle olive oil on top

  7. place in oven for 10-15 minutes, checking on them periodically
